Blog is for more personal writings with occasional musings. While Essays are (ideally) where I'll move more of my longer/more structured writings. (Though I'm debating on making a another cateogry depending on if I start writing things that can't easily be classified as either.)

What I tend to write about in Blog is about my personal life, potentially also stuff about the site. Essays is generally for media. Not necessarily fandom oriented. Since I do want a place to put my more general essays that aren't specific to a fandom.
